Privacy Policy
A plain-English account of what data we collect, what we don't, what third parties touch, and what choices you have. Last updated 12 May 2026.
1. The short version
- We do not require accounts. You do not log in to play games on Hage Game.
- Our default consent state is deny everything except what is strictly necessary to load the site. You opt in, not out.
- We use Google AdSense to show advertising. AdSense places cookies and may use personal data for ad personalisation if (and only if) you grant consent.
- We do not sell personal data. We do not run loyalty programmes, mailing lists, or analytics that follow you across other sites.
- You can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie banner or by writing to privacy@hagegame.com.
2. Who runs this site
Hage Game is operated by a two-person independent editorial team. For privacy matters the data controller is reachable at privacy@hagegame.com. We are a small operation and do not have a formal Data Protection Officer; the contact above is the single point for all privacy questions.
3. What information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
If you email us, we receive the email address you used and the contents of the message. That's it. We don't have an account system, so there's no name, no password, no profile.
3.2 Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server-level information when you visit the site: IP address, user agent string (which device and browser you used), and the page you requested. This is retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes for a short rolling window. We do not have direct access to this log on a per-user basis.
We store one piece of information in your browser ourselves: your cookie-consent choice. This is held in localStorage under the key hage_cmp_v1. It is never transmitted to a server.
3.3 Information collected by third parties
With your consent, we allow the following third parties to set cookies and process limited data from your browser:
- Google AdSense / Google AdSense for Search. Advertising cookies including (but not limited to)
__gads,__gpi,NID, and the IAB Europe TCF v2.3 consent string. Used to show advertising and measure ad effectiveness. Google's role and policies are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. - Google Fonts. Loaded from
fonts.googleapis.com. Google receives your IP address when fonts are fetched. No cookies are set by Google Fonts.
We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, FullStory, or any similar behavioural-analytics service.
4. Google AdSense — the full picture
We participate in Google AdSense, a contextual and personalised advertising network operated by Google LLC. Here is what you should know:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting www.google.com/settings/ads or, for many networks at once, www.aboutads.info.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Hage Game uses the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework v2.3. Your consent choices are passed to Google and its certified ad-tech vendors in a standardised consent string. You can review and change your TCF choices at any time using the cookie banner.
- If you have not consented to personalised advertising, Google will serve non-personalised ads. These are based on the content of the page you are viewing, not on a profile of you.
5. Legal basis (GDPR · EU/UK)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Erasure — deletion of personal data we hold about you.
- Restriction — limit on how we process your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, for any consent-based processing.
- Lodge a complaint — with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@hagegame.com. We will respond within 30 days. Because we don't run an account system, the most common request — "delete my data" — usually only requires us to confirm we do not in fact hold any persistent data about you, beyond rolling server logs.
7. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete personal information, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. We may "share" personal information with Google for the purpose of cross-context behavioural advertising; you may opt out at any time using the cookie banner. 8. China (PIPL) and other jurisdictions
Hage Game is operated from outside the People's Republic of China and is intended for a global audience. We comply with the principles of the PRC Personal Information Protection Law in respect of any users who access the site from the PRC. Personal information processed in connection with Google AdSense may be transferred to Google entities outside your jurisdiction; you can find Google's cross-border data-transfer notice in their advertising policies.
9. Children
Hage Game is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the relevant age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where we serve advertising, we instruct Google AdSense to treat the relevant traffic as not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Data retention
- Email correspondence: retained for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry, plus a reasonable archive period.
- Server logs (held by Cloudflare): a short rolling window, typically days.
- Cookie-consent choice (in your browser): until you clear it, or 13 months — whichever is shorter.
- AdSense cookies: retention is set by Google. See their policies.
11. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. We do not run a database of users and so the most common attack surface — credential theft — does not apply. Email correspondence is handled through a standard commercial email provider.
12. Changes to this policy
We will revise this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new "last updated" date and, where possible, a banner on the site for at least 14 days.
